About Carolyn
Carolyn Fluehr-Lobban is a Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at Rhode Island College and a lecturer at the Naval War College. Her focus is anthropology and ethics, human rights, cultural relativism and universal rights, and she has authored textbooks on Islamic societies and on race and racism. She is also a beekeeper and lectures on bees and beekeeping. Carolyn and her husband Richard live in Bridgewater NH. A staunch supporter of human rights and liberties, Carolyn ran to represent Grafton-18 in 2022. Over 8,000 votes were cast in that election… and she lost by just FOUR votes!
